Automation at scale
Designing frameworks that reduce manual toil and make the right thing the easy thing.

Hi, I’m Arvind Kannan — an engineer who treats every new domain, language, and stack as the next puzzle to solve. Over 11+ years across support, automation, integration, and complex solution delivery, I’ve learned to be language-agnostic, framework-fluid, and problem-first. I love jumping into uncharted territory, partnering with sharp teams, and shipping systems that quietly do the hard work at scale — increasingly powered by agentic and AI-native patterns.
01 — About
I’m drawn to new challenges and unfamiliar stacks. Every domain — ERP, healthcare, integrations, internal platforms — has its own language and constraints, and I enjoy learning them quickly enough to ship something useful, then iterating with the team.
My approach is deliberately language-agnostic and tool-pragmatic. I choose the right runtime, framework, and pattern for the problem — not the other way around. Lately, that means a lot of agentic workflows, AI-augmented automation, and event-driven integration alongside the classics.
I care about reliability, clarity, and scale. The systems I’m most proud of are the ones you don’t notice — they just keep working as the business grows.
02 — Experience
A growing record. Each role expands with key projects and outcomes over time.
Lead Engineer · Capability Enablement · Singapore
Playing a pivotal role in transforming healthcare operations through innovative engineering. Designing AI-infused platforms and automation pipelines that give project, application, and infrastructure teams a unified, proactive view of hundreds of healthcare applications across Singapore.
Innovation · Platform · Product Engineering · Chennai → Singapore
Identified and championed emerging technologies across the organization — from ideation and prototyping to client adoption — while leading platform-level builds that scaled core Ramco products.
Product Engineering · Integrations · AI/Vision · Chennai
Architected and shipped standalone systems and integrations on top of Ramco's ERP — including facial-recognition attendance, pandemic control, and end-to-end ERP ↔ CRM integration for enterprise clients.
Support Engineering · ERP Automation · Chennai
Started my career improving customer productivity through automation across ERP modules — building internal chatbots, REST integrations, and intelligent support tooling that cut effort across L1/L2 teams.
03 — Skills
Patterns and capabilities I bring — independent of any single stack.
Designing frameworks that reduce manual toil and make the right thing the easy thing.
Event-driven, API-first integrations that keep enterprise systems honest and in sync.
Composing LLMs, tools, and workflows into agents that solve real operational problems.
Translating ambiguous requirements into scoped, shippable, measurable outcomes.
Production-grade thinking: observability, runbooks, blast-radius control, learning loops.
Comfortable picking up the stack the problem deserves — and getting productive fast.
04 — Education
Bachelor of Technology
Strong foundation in engineering fundamentals, systems thinking, and problem solving — the base for everything I’ve built since.
05 — Work
Themes today. Case studies, metrics, and architecture deep dives will land here.
Reusable foundations that reduce manual effort and keep teams in flow.
Connecting systems of record with the systems of work that actually run the business.
Owning solutions end-to-end in environments where resilience is non-negotiable.
Prototyping LLM-driven agents that take real actions, safely and observably.
Reserved slot for full project narratives with context, decisions, and outcomes.
